Ronaldinho wants to resume his career later this year

Ronaldinho has stated that he will resume his career later year after having ended his contract with Fluminense.


The veteran player has been without a club since having terminated his deal with Fluminense.

There were reports that Ronaldinho would have retired last season but instead he find a way to negotiate a new contract with the Brazilian club and stayed there. However, he was heavily criticized by the fans and chose to end his contract with Fluminense only after 2 months with the club.

At the moment, Ronaldinho is taking part in promotional events, but he has been quoted as saying that he will be playing again by the end of the year. It is believed that there are a number of clubs that might be interested in signing the former Brazil international player.

Kabuscorp from Angola is one of the teams that might be interested in signing Ronaldinho. In fact, there was news that there was already an agreement in place until Ronaldinho decided that he would return to Brazil. The Angolan team will be hoping that this time the deal will work out and that they will see Ronaldinho playing for them.

It is also reported that  Antalyaspor from Turkey might also be interested in signing the veteran playmaker. The Turkish side was already interested in signing the player last summer, and they will be hoping that Ronaldinho chooses them this time to resume his playing career.

However, most pundits agree that Ronaldinho might be moving to the Major League Soccer or the Chinese Super League. These leagues have been known to feature international stars that are on pre-retirement and will definitely benefit from the arrival of a legend like Ronaldinho. The league will definitely benefit from the playing skills of Ronaldinho and also the media coverage.
